The Clemson University Outdoor Laboratory is a unique public service complex located five miles from the University campus on a beautiful peninsula jutting into Lake Hartwell. The Laboratory is the summer home of many residential camping programs including, Camp Sertoma, Jaycee Camp Hope, and Camp Lions Den. These camps provide opportunities for special populations in South Carolina to experience the benefits of group living and outdoor activities.

      Laboratory facilities are available for other groups from mid-August to June for day or overnight use. Excellent accommodations for conferences, workshops, schools, scouts, retreats, and other programs or groups are available. With an abundance of trees and water, the Laboratory provides possibilities that can be found in few environments.
